Connect directly to your 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi network and use the RainPoint app to create watering schedules, start manual watering and manage your irrigation system remotely. Whether you’re looking after a large lawn, landscaped garden, vegetable beds or multiple outdoor areas, you can give each zone its own watering programme.

Smart Wi-Fi Control Through the RainPoint App

Wi-Fi requirement: A compatible 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection is required for app connectivity. A separate RainPoint Wi-Fi Hub is not required for this controller.

Weather-Based Watering

Help your garden receive water when it needs it. The RainPoint controller uses supported local weather information and rain-delay functionality to help skip unnecessary watering during rainy conditions.

Seasonal adjustment features allow watering durations to be adapted to changing conditions throughout the year.

Compatible Sensor Integration

The controller supports up to two sensor connections for compatible RainPoint irrigation sensors. With the appropriate compatible sensors, your irrigation setup can respond to conditions such as rainfall and soil moisture.

Compatible sensors are sold separately. Check the exact sensor model and connection requirements before purchasing.

Designed for Wired Irrigation Systems

This controller is designed to operate compatible 24V AC solenoid valves. It can control up to eight irrigation valves and supports one additional master valve.

It is suitable for upgrading an existing compatible sprinkler system or setting up a new multi-zone irrigation installation.

Installation and Setup

1. Choose a suitable indoor wall location close to the irrigation wiring and a power outlet.
2. Mount the controller using the supplied mounting hardware.
3. Connect the compatible 24V AC solenoid valve wiring to the corresponding zone terminals.
4. Connect the power supply and switch on the controller.
5. Download the RainPoint app and follow the instructions to add the controller.
6. Connect the controller to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
7. Configure your individual watering zones and schedules.

Important Compatibility Information

• Designed for 24V AC solenoid valves only.
• Not intended for DC latching solenoid valves.
• Indoor installation only. The controller should be protected from rain and direct water exposure.
• Compatible sensors are sold separately.
• Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with irrigation wiring or electrical connections.
