Why run your sprinklers when Mother Nature has already switched on the tap? The RainPoint Wireless Smart Rain Sensor helps prevent unnecessary watering by automatically pausing your compatible irrigation system when rainfall is detected.

Designed to work with compatible RainPoint smart irrigation timers and controllers, this wireless sensor detects rainfall and signals your irrigation system to stop scheduled watering. Once the sensor dries, it automatically resets so your normal watering routine can resume.

Four Adjustable Rainfall Sensitivity Levels

• 3mm: More sensitive detection for light rainfall.
• 6mm: Suitable for moderate rainfall thresholds.
• 13mm: Allows more rainfall before irrigation is paused.
• 19mm: Higher rainfall threshold for different watering requirements.

Automatic Watering Pause and Recovery

When rainfall reaches the selected sensitivity level, the sensor activates and signals your compatible irrigation system to pause watering. Its internal absorbent element gradually dries after rainfall. Once dry, the sensor automatically resets so your normal watering schedule can continue.

Installation

1. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the sensor.
2. Install the mounting bracket in a suitable outdoor position.
3. Position the sensor where it can receive rainfall without obstruction.
4. Adjust the rainfall sensitivity to your preferred setting.
5. Pair the sensor with your compatible RainPoint irrigation controller according to the user manual.
6. Adjust the ventilation ring to suit your preferred recovery behaviour.
