Smart Temperature & Humidity Monitoring

The SONOFF TH16 Elite THR316D is a smart WiFi temperature and humidity monitoring switch designed to monitor environmental conditions in real time and automatically control connected equipment. As the upgraded version of the original SONOFF TH16, the Elite model adds an LCD screen, dry-contact output and an upgraded RJ9 sensor connection.

Built-In LCD Display

Check temperature and humidity readings directly from the built-in LCD screen without opening the app. The display refreshes approximately every five seconds, providing convenient real-time environmental information at a glance.

16A Smart Switching

The THR316D supports loads of up to 16A and operates from 100–240V AC at 50/60Hz. This makes it suitable for controlling compatible electrical equipment where temperature or humidity conditions need to be monitored and used as part of an automation system.

Dry Contact Output

In addition to its main switching capability, the TH16 Elite provides a 5–30V, 1A maximum dry-contact output. This allows it to work with equipment that uses a dry-contact control input, including compatible heating and control systems.

Real-Time Environmental Monitoring

When paired with a compatible sensor, the TH16 Elite can monitor temperature and humidity in real time. Configure thresholds in the eWeLink app and receive push notifications when configured conditions are reached or when the device changes state.

Six Months of Historical Data

The TH16 Elite stores up to six months of temperature and humidity history with hourly accuracy. Historical information can be viewed by hour, day or month and exported in XLSX format for further analysis.

Automatic Temperature & Humidity Control

Create automatic control rules based on temperature and humidity conditions. Up to eight automatic control programs can be configured, allowing compatible equipment to be switched according to environmental thresholds and scheduled conditions.

Smart Scenes & Home Assistant

Temperature, humidity and device status can be used as triggers for smart scenes. The TH16 Elite can also be integrated with Home Assistant through the eWeLink add-on for more advanced smart-home automation.

Alexa & Google Assistant Voice Control

The TH16 Elite works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing compatible voice assistants to query temperature and humidity information and control supported functions.

Upgraded RJ9 Sensor Connection

The sensor connector has been upgraded to RJ9 and supports hot-plugging for a more stable and convenient sensor connection. Compatible sensors include the THS01, WTS01 and MS01, with compatible extension accessories available for longer sensor cable runs.

Suitable for Environmental Automation

The TH16 Elite can be used for applications such as environmental monitoring, heating and ventilation control, greenhouses, equipment rooms and other installations where temperature or humidity conditions need to trigger smart automation.

Installation Note

The TH16 Elite requires compatible sensors, which are sold separately. Electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Cable tips should be properly crimped or soldered onto suitable electrical lugs before being inserted into the device.
