Four-Channel Smart Control

The SONOFF 4CH R3 is a four-channel WiFi smart switch designed to bring smart control to multiple lights, appliances and electrical devices from a single compact controller. Each of the four channels can be controlled through the SONOFF app, allowing several connected circuits or appliances to be managed independently.

Control Four Devices from One Switch

With four independent channels, the 4CH R3 provides a convenient way to control multiple electrical devices from one smart switch. This makes it suitable for lighting, household appliances and other compatible electrical loads.

WiFi Remote Control

Control connected devices remotely using the eWeLink app. You can switch each channel on or off from your smartphone without needing to be physically next to the connected device.

Three Flexible Working Modes

The 4CH R3 supports three operating modes: self-locking, interlock and inching. These modes can be configured directly through the eWeLink app, providing greater flexibility for different automation applications.

Self-Locking Mode

Self-locking mode allows the four channels to operate independently. Each connected device can be switched on or off without affecting the other channels.

Interlock Mode

Interlock mode allows one channel to be switched on while the other channels are switched off. This can be useful for applications where only one of several connected outputs should operate at a time.

Inching Mode

Inching mode allows a channel to switch on and then automatically switch off after a configurable period. The timing range is from 0.5 to 3600 seconds, making it useful for pulse-style control applications.

Smart Scheduling & Timers

Create schedules and countdown timers so connected devices can automatically switch on or off according to your requirements. This makes the 4CH R3 useful for automating regular daily routines.

Smart Scenes

Create smart scenes in eWeLink to allow connected devices to trigger actions across your smart-home system. This can help combine the 4CH R3 with other compatible SONOFF devices and automation routines.

Real-Time Device Status

Check the current ON/OFF status of the connected channels directly from your smartphone. This makes it easy to see whether your connected devices are operating without needing to physically inspect them.

Power-On State

Configure the desired power-on behaviour so connected channels can be set to remain off, switch on or retain their previous state when electrical power is restored.

LAN Control

The 4CH R3 supports LAN functionality, providing local control capabilities within a compatible network environment.

Voice Control

The 4CH R3 can work with supported voice assistants, including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing compatible connected devices to be controlled using voice commands.

Share Control with Other Users

Share control permissions with other compatible eWeLink accounts, making it possible for multiple users to operate the connected devices.

2.4GHz WiFi Connectivity

The 4CH R3 connects to 2.4GHz WiFi using IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. It is designed for reliable smart-home connectivity through compatible WiFi networks.

16A Total Load Capacity

The 4CH R3 supports a maximum of 10A per channel, with a combined maximum load of 16A across the four channels. The maximum published rating is 2200W per channel and 3500W total. Always ensure connected loads remain within the specified ratings.

Compact DIN-Rail Style Installation

Measuring approximately 145 × 90 × 34 mm, the 4CH R3 provides a compact enclosure suitable for appropriate electrical installations. Its PC V-0 housing is designed for the device’s electrical-control application.

Four Manual Control Buttons

The device includes individual physical buttons for the four channels, allowing manual switching and pairing functions directly from the unit. LED indicators provide visual feedback for the channel and WiFi status.

Important: 4CH R3 vs 4CH PRO R3

The SONOFF 4CH R3 should not be confused with the 4CH PRO R3. The 4CH PRO R3 adds RF control and has a higher total load rating. The standard 4CH R3 is the WiFi-only model with a 16A total maximum load.

Electrical Installation

The 4CH R3 operates from 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz. Electrical installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person and in accordance with applicable electrical regulations and the requirements of the connected loads.
