Advanced 4-Channel Smart Control

The SONOFF 4CH PRO R3 is a four-channel smart switch combining WiFi and RF control in one versatile controller. It allows you to independently control up to four connected electrical devices while providing flexible operating modes for lighting, appliances, motors and other compatible applications.

WiFi & RF Remote Control

Control connected devices remotely through the eWeLink app using WiFi, or use compatible RF control for convenient wireless operation. The additional RF capability distinguishes the 4CH PRO R3 from the standard 4CH R3.

Four Independent Channels

The four channels can be used to control multiple lights, appliances or other compatible electrical devices from a single smart controller. Each channel can be operated independently when using the appropriate working mode.

Up to 40A Total Load

The 4CH PRO R3 supports up to 10A per channel, with a combined maximum load of 40A across all four channels. This gives the PRO R3 a substantially higher total load capacity than the standard 4CH R3.

Self-Locking Mode

Self-locking mode allows each channel to operate independently, making it suitable when multiple connected devices need to be switched on or off separately.

Interlock Mode

Interlock mode allows one channel to operate at a time while the other channels are switched off. This can be useful for applications where several outputs should not operate simultaneously.

Inching Mode

Inching mode allows a channel to switch on and automatically switch off after a configured period. The available timing range is approximately 0.5 to 3600 seconds, making this mode useful for pulse-style control applications.

Dry Contact Control

The 4CH PRO R3 supports dry-contact operation, making it suitable for applications where the switch needs to provide a contact signal rather than directly supplying power to the controlled equipment. This can be useful for compatible garage doors, curtains, access-control systems and other control inputs.

DC Power Input

In addition to 100–240V AC operation, the 4CH PRO R3 supports a 9–23V DC input. This provides additional flexibility for installations requiring a low-voltage supply.

Smart Scheduling & Timers

Create schedules and timers through eWeLink so connected devices can automatically switch according to your preferred routine. This is useful for lighting, pumps, appliances and other compatible applications.

Smart Scenes

Create smart scenes that allow the 4CH PRO R3 to interact with other compatible smart-home devices. This allows multiple actions to be automated from a single trigger.

Real-Time Device Status

Check the current ON/OFF status of connected devices from the eWeLink app, making it easy to monitor your connected circuits remotely.

Power-On State

Configure the desired power-on behaviour for connected channels, including ON, OFF or retaining the previous state when power is restored.

Voice Control

The 4CH PRO R3 can be used with supported voice-control platforms including Amazon Alexa and Google Home, allowing compatible connected devices to be controlled using voice commands.

No Hub Required

The 4CH PRO R3 connects directly to a compatible 2.4GHz WiFi network, so a separate smart-home hub is not required for its WiFi-based operation.

2.4GHz WiFi Connectivity

The device uses 2.4GHz WiFi with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and WPA/WPA2 security, providing wireless connectivity for smart control through the eWeLink ecosystem.

RF Wireless Control

The integrated RF functionality allows compatible RF commands to control the connected channels. This provides an additional control method alongside WiFi and app-based operation.

DIN-Rail Installation

The 4CH PRO R3 is designed for suitable electrical installations and has a compact 145 × 90 × 34 mm enclosure. Its format is suitable for organised electrical control-panel installations where the device and connected loads meet the applicable requirements.

Suitable for Multiple Applications

With four channels, WiFi, RF, dry-contact capability and configurable operating modes, the 4CH PRO R3 can be used for a variety of automation projects, including lighting, pumps, motorised devices, garage doors, curtains and other compatible equipment.

4CH PRO R3 vs 4CH R3

The 4CH PRO R3 should not be confused with the standard SONOFF 4CH R3. The PRO R3 adds RF control, supports dry-contact applications and increases the combined maximum load to 40A, compared with 16A total for the standard 4CH R3.

Electrical Installation

The 4CH PRO R3 supports 100–240V AC at 50/60Hz or 9–23V DC input. Electrical installation and connection of mains-powered loads should be performed by a suitably qualified person and in accordance with applicable electrical regulations.
