Two-Channel Smart WiFi Control

The SONOFF DUALR3 Lite is a compact two-channel WiFi smart switch designed to control two electrical loads independently or operate compatible motorised devices such as roller shutters, blinds, curtains and awnings. It installs behind a conventional wall switch to add smart control without replacing the existing switching arrangement.

Dual-Channel Control

With two independently controlled channels, the DUALR3 Lite can be used to operate two compatible lights or appliances from one smart module. This makes it suitable for a wide range of home automation applications.

Motor Mode for Roller Shutters & Curtains

Motor Mode allows the DUALR3 Lite to control compatible bidirectional AC motors used in roller shutters, blinds, curtains and awnings. This provides convenient smart control of motorised window coverings through the SONOFF ecosystem.

Smart Switch Mode

In Switch Mode, the two channels operate as independent smart outputs for compatible electrical loads. You can control each connected appliance or light separately from the eWeLink app.

External Wall Switch Control

The DUALR3 Lite supports external switch control, allowing compatible existing wall switches to continue controlling connected loads while also adding smart WiFi functionality.

Remote Control with eWeLink

Control your connected devices remotely using the eWeLink app. Switch compatible loads on or off from your smartphone whether you are at home or away.

Smart Scheduling & Timers

Create schedules and countdown timers to automate connected devices according to your daily routine. This can be useful for lighting, appliances and motorised window coverings.

Smart Home Automation

The DUALR3 Lite can be incorporated into compatible smart scenes and automation routines, allowing connected devices to work together as part of a broader smart-home setup.

Voice Control

The DUALR3 Lite is compatible with supported voice assistants including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, providing hands-free control of compatible connected devices.

Compact Retrofit Design

Measuring approximately 54 × 49 × 24 mm, the DUALR3 Lite is designed as a compact flush-mounted module that can be installed behind a compatible wall switch.

2.4GHz WiFi Connectivity

The DUALR3 Lite uses 2.4GHz WiFi with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. It connects directly to a compatible WiFi network for smart control through the eWeLink ecosystem.

15A Total Load Capacity

The DUALR3 Lite supports up to 10A per channel, with a maximum combined resistive load of 15A. The maximum published resistive load is 2200W per channel and 3300W total.

Motor Load Support

For compatible motorised applications, the specified motor load is 10–240W with a maximum current of 1A. Always verify motor compatibility and required travel-limit functionality before installation.

Important: No Power Metering

The DUALR3 Lite does not include the power-metering functions found on the standard DUALR3. It is designed for smart switching and motor control rather than energy-consumption measurement.

DUALR3 Lite vs DUALR3

The main difference is that the DUALR3 includes power monitoring and related energy-management functions, while the DUALR3 Lite retains the motor mode, switch mode and external switch control without power metering.

Safe Electrical Installation

The DUALR3 Lite operates from 100–240V AC and should be installed by a suitably qualified person. A neutral connection is required for the module, and the connected loads must remain within the specified electrical ratings.
