The 4GB version of iHost is powered by an RV1126 processor with 4GB DDR4 RAM. SONOFF designed this hardware configuration for faster local processing and more demanding smart-home applications, including expandable add-ons and automation services.

Local Smart Home Control

iHost is designed to provide local control and automation without depending entirely on cloud services. Smart scenes, automation data and compatible device management can be handled locally, helping provide responsive operation even when internet connectivity is unavailable.

Built-In Zigbee 3.0 Hub

The iHost includes a built-in Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 Zigbee SoC and can act as a Zigbee coordinator for compatible smart-home devices. SONOFF specifies support for up to 128 Zigbee sub-devices, with Zigbee routers available to extend network coverage.

Centralise Your Zigbee Devices

Connect compatible SONOFF Zigbee switches, plugs, sensors, curtain motors and other Zigbee products to iHost and manage them from a central local system. This makes iHost particularly useful for larger smart-home installations with multiple Zigbee devices.

WiFi & LAN Smart Home Integration

iHost supports 2.4GHz WiFi and LAN-connected compatible devices. SONOFF’s eWeLink Smart Home add-on can integrate supported SONOFF LAN-compatible WiFi products into the iHost environment.

The current iHost platform supports adding devices through Zigbee, LAN, eWeLink-Remote and Matter, helping centralise different smart-home technologies within a single control environment.

Local Data Storage

The iHost supports local storage through USB and a TF/microSD card. SONOFF specifies support for TF cards up to 256GB, providing additional storage capacity for supported applications and data.

For installations where stable network connectivity is important, iHost includes an RJ45 Ethernet port. This provides a wired network connection between the hub and your local network.
